Senior Management Analyst

Location: Washington, DC - DHS/ICE Client Site
   
Responsibilities:

Duties will include assisting the project manager with activities, requirements, execution, and scheduling tasks related to various projects. The individual must be familiar with the PMP discipline. The individual may also be required to work with the project manager to perform annual budget analysis and preparation, financial tracking, requisition tracking, oversee and follow-up the project administration activities. The individual will also perform various technical writing and administrative writing tasks.

   
Requirements:

Ten years of IT analysis and support professional experience and with at least two years of technical writing/editing experience required. Must have excellent technical writing skills with thorough knowledge of English grammar and punctuation. Ability to assimilate technical concepts quickly and present technical information clearly and concisely for technical and non-technical audiences. Outstanding audience analysis skills and ability to tailor communication to fit needs of diverse audiences. Knowledge of proofreaders' marks.

The individual must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in collaboration with authors. Ability to work independently, yet seek guidance when necessary. Ability to meet tight deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.

   
Additional Duties:

Documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures. Conducting peer reviews and editing documents created by other team members. Creating and maintaining a master documentation project schedule. Identifying interdependencies and milestones in documentation projects.

   
Desired Skills:
  • Familiar with Government Financial, Procurement, and Contact activities and procedures
  • Familiar with IT technologies and terminology
  • Hands on MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint experience required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Having a PMP certification or working towards a certification is a plus
   
Prerequisites:

Bachelor degree or equivalent and 10+ years experience.
