QA Program Lead

Summary:

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International, Inc. (ATL), a growing government contractor is seeking a QA Program Specialist.

   
Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Program Lead (QAPL) will report to the Senior Quality Manager, and will function as the lead in continuing development and maintenance of ATL's Quality Assurance Program. The QAPL is the subject matter expert responsible for ensuring that an appropriate QA Program, the scope of which includes all systems and activities that affect safety and quality, is documented and implemented in accordance with contractual requirements. Key responsiblities include:

  • Maintenance, continued development, and implementation of ATL's Quality Assurance Program Description based on the applicable requirements of 10CFR830, DOE O 414.1C, NQA-1, and other contractual quality requirements
  • Administration of ATL's Corrective Action Management System.
  • Price-Anderson Amendment Acts (PAAA) Coordinator
   
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with QA Program administration
  • Experience with applicable QA standards (e.g., NQA-1
  • Experience with Corrective Action Management (e.g., causal analysis, extent of condition, action planning, etc.)
  • Auditing experience
   
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NQA-1 lead auditor
  • Trained PAAA classifier
  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in scientific discipline
  • Analytical laborator knowledge / experience
    • Experience with laboratory QA standard(s) (e.g., ISO 17025)
  • Experience in developing and implementing a QA Program
  • Experience with applicable Codes of Federal Regulations and DOE Orders
