This position is considered a hands-on position which requires solid experience in proposal preparation, cost and pricing, negotiations, contract administration, execution of teaming and subcontract agreements and contract closeouts. The desired candidate must be knowledgeable of the FAR, familiar with government contract bidding process, and experienced in contract cost/financial management.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 to 8 years of directly related experience
Extensive experience and knowledge of managing Government contracts: Fixed Price, Time and Material, Cost Plus fixed/award Fee, Level of Effort, and GSA Schedule contracts
Ability to review and analyze RFPs, identify contract risk, draft/negotiate T’s&C’s of teaming and subcontract agreements, as well as coordinate appropriate review in accordance with corporate policy and procedures
Strong pricing experience
Ability to work independently and take the initiative to handle complex contractual issues
Able to manage multiple projects and develop quick turn-around contract management strategies
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong PC and organizational skills
Able to travel (occasional travel between two major ATL offices may be required)
